We prefer AMD based systems at this point. The AMD K6-II processor will perform almost as well as the Intel Pentium II and III processors at a significantly lower price for most functions. The exception to this is graphics where the AMD processors with their 3D-NOW technology will outperform the Intel processors. If you are looking for a high performance graphics workstation, AMD is the right choice.
